Nico Nico Douga (ニコニコ動画 lit. "Smiley Smiley Video "Nico-dō" for short, is a video sharing website in Japan managed by Niwango, a subsidiary of Dwango "Niconico" or "nikoniko" is the Japanese ideophone for smiling.
The Website is like YouTube but it is mostly for JAPANESE viewers. So I went to a big event that Niko Niko Douga holds and there were a lot of cosplayers and weirdness going on. I rarely watch videos on the website but YouTube. I feel like Otaku people watch videos on the website.
